A Little About Me

I have a passion for personal and professional development and helping others reach their goals and that lead me to leave corporate america and pursue that as a profession full-time. For me assisting others to achieve their dreams, discover their life's purpose, or get the results they want when they feel stuck, is a calling. I am reminded of the quote, "Find something you love and you'll never work a day in your life." As a certified coach, trainer, and speaker I help individuals expand their capacity and achieve their aspirations and desired results. I do this is done by helping clients understand that the answers are within them and my job is to help them navigate to those answers. It is a journey and at times, like us, that journey is ever-evolving.

My 'Why'

I could not have done it without the love and support of my family, especially my wife and kids. Stepping away from the comforts of a very successful corporate career and venturing out on my own was not an easy decision. There is some level of fear I had to overcome and my faith and family were huge in helping me do just that. I feel helping others is a calling...that and my family is the 'Why' behind most of what I do. The love, the laughs, the hugs, and all the family times are the fuel that keeps me in the race we call life. On yeah, not to mention that they like to eat (lol). Of the 6 of us, 5 are six feet or taller. So I guess you can say we have a big family (smile). Another part of my 'Why' is the Sapphire Youth Development Center that my wife and I founded. Our passion for developing youth lead us to start an organization that equips, empowers, and develops the youth of our communities creating pathways to success.

After leaving corporate

So in addition to being a husband and dad, I am now a life coach and entrepreneur. I even got talked into doing some modeling which I found some success in. I appeared in a PGA Store Father's Day ad (3 seconds of fame lol), a couple of RYOBI print ads, ads for The Preserve Communities resorts, etc. I even had the opportunity to work on ads with my wife and granddaughter. But modeling and commercials are not as much fun as you may think. It can take hours and hours of retakes and photo shoots for an ad that is 20 seconds long or the hundreds of pics in the photo shoot and there was only one pic selected for the ad. Usually a pic I didn't like (smile). But it was a great experience. I stepped away from that because it was taking too much time away from my true passion and calling...helping others. With that said, a few of my clients have urged me to start a YouTube channel so what is in the works as well. I am also working on a book so I will be able to add, 'author' to the 'Who I am' list. So that's husband, dad, life coach, YouTuber and author. Notice I left out anything to do with acting and modeling lol.
